So my question is, how much better is the 2015 Imac 4Ghz i7, 8Gb ram as standard (will upgrade to 32gb or even 64gb Third party.
However, if I purchase an Imac, which I assume is a more powerful machine than the 2016 macbook pro, I'll then beable to work on a more powerful machine 90% of the time, and make do with my current macbook pro for the times I do need to work away from desk. If I buy the new macbook pro 2016, it'll make my current macbook pro redundant, as I doubt i could even sell it. I mostly work at my desk and only need to take my macbook pro with me every now and then. I've been waiting for the new Macbook Pro 15 to be announced, but now that it has, I've started thinking maybe the Imac is a better purchase for me. Obviously this wasn't as apparent when I worked on my olympus EM1 16MP files. I mostly use it for Lightroom CC and PS CC editing my Sony A7rii raw files and have found that most adjustments tends to take a second or so before it actually works. So I currently have a mid 2012 Macbook Pro 15" Retina, 2.6 GHz i7, 16GB ram, Nvidia Geforce GT 650M 1024 MB. It's my first post here, and I'm a spec noob, so please go easy if I ask some stupid questions.
